人間界で生きる八尺様のやちる。「八尺様はえっちな妖怪」という世間のイメージが定着してしまったことにより、身体は弱体化し、身長は元の8尺（240cm）より縮んでいまや190cmほど。間違ったイメージを払拭しようと奮闘するも、日々失敗ばかり。しかし勉強のためにホラー映画を観に行った映画館で、八尺様の大ファンの青年・誠一郎と出会う。そこでやちるは、誠一郎に褒められると自分の身長が元の大きさに戻ることに気付くのだった…‼
Yachiru is a Hasshakusama youkai living in the human world. Because the prevailing public image of Hasshakusama is that they’re lewd (not scary), her powers have weakened and her height has shrunk from its original 8 shaku (240 cm) to about 190 cm. She strives to correct that impression, but each day is another failure. However, while at the cinema to study horror films, she meets Seiichirou, a young man who is a huge fan of Hasshakusama. That’s when Yachiru realizes that whenever Seiichirou praises her, her height returns to its original size…!!!
