From his last appearance it looked like he had a plan…but if there was any he was unable to attempt it.
The chief goddess was searching for him but couldn't find his presence anywhere, was finally able to do it when she noticed a mantis alive in full winter, she noticed he had likely lost all memories and was alive only thanks to his own status as a divine being.
It attemped to kill or mate with another mantis, that is weird as she said he was the only one, so I'm guessing it was a monster mantis or the type he had turned in was one unable to survive that enviroment, but lost.
The goddess retrieved his crumbling soul, then lamented as she had told him it was too early, he was in a rush, had abandoned everything, even his own human name and wanted too much, if he had took it slow and learned was it meant to be a god things would have been different.
In the end she is sad because in the past he did help her world, and even if he was threateing her position and cause suffering she was still attached to him.
The nation that worshipped him got the full brunt of divine punishment from all the gods he had offended and harmed, it lost divine protection and when she doesn't want humans to perish the other gods will not let them go unpunished for their actions.
She was still worried about a demon lord coming, but his castle is even more frozen as it had no protection from the start.
Guy was a pos, but that end was sad to see, even if deserved and probably for who suffered under him, light.
