Axed…and in a very crude way…
Unfortunately it was likely destined to go this way, the author changed it from ecchi comedy with a ghost to full on battle manga with gritty topics.
The moment it changed what it was it lost the original readers, and didn't gain new ones, a real pity because a sexy theater shadow onee-san that teases is a new concept, and now is wasted.
This for me is like when Hitman Reborn and Medaka Box changed from comedies to serious battle manga to avoid the axe, and the second only lasted for the good art and Nisiosin name, I never finished either of the 2, wasn't what I boarded.
Unlike them this one was a from someone less know, and that didn't had 80 chapters like HR to get fans, the last hit was how the artstyle fell so quickly, is much inferior to the start and when that always happens 20 chapters was way too fast.
The mangaka should have betted on the original concept and at most used more fanservice, it worked with that shit of To Love Ru…sex always sells.
